Effective leaders understand the power that each member of a group possesses. Effective leaders tap into that power by eliciting the want and desire of the possessor.

In order to elicit the best from each person you deal with learn when to get involved with what they are doing and, very importantly, learn when to stay clear and let them do their best for the group, organization, and their own selves.
