Don’t know what RSS is? RSS and, also, Atom are web feeds. Really Simple Syndication (RSS) is a data format for providing reagularly updated content for syndication. The syndication makes the feed availablt to client software which is referred to as an aggregator. The aggregator checks with the syndication for any updates. If updates are available the aggrigator downloads the update, so you can conveniently read fresh content from different websites without have to visit each through your web browser.
